UNEA-7: advancing multilevel cooperation for a resilient planet

The Global Cities Hub participated in the 7th session (8-12 December 2025) of the UN Environment Assembly (UNEA-7) “Advancing sustainable solutions for a resilient planet”. Co-governing the Citiverse in a people-centred way

Following the opening remarks by Cristina Bueti of ITU and Graham Alabaster from UN-Habitat, the interventions explained the ongoing activities in three related workstreams – helping the audience discover how technological development, including the virtual worlds are transforming the way cities are designed, governed, and experienced.
