The GCH, official partner of the UN Forum of Mayors, is happy to share that the 6th UN Forum of Mayors will take place on 12-13 October 2026.
Associated events with the UN Forum of Mayors will also take place in the days following the Forum. More information to come.
The 2026 UN FoM will mainly focus on reviewing through a local lens SDG11 – Sustainable Cities and Communities. This SDG will also be reviewed by Member States at the UN High Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development to be held ahead of the Forum, in New York in July 2026.
The Global Cities Hub is looking forward to a strong cooperation with all the UN Regional economic commissions to organize the Forum and to engage with all interested Mayors and city networks.
