Forum of Mayors 2022

The 2nd Forum of Mayors will take place on 4-5 April 2022 in Geneva. It will be held back-to-back with the Regional Forum on Sustainable Development (RFSD) to link local and national action in support of the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals. The thematic focus will be aligned with the High-Level Political Forum and the RFSD.

High-Level Mayors’ Dialogue on Smart Cities at WSIS Forum 2022

The Interactive High-Level Dialogue with Mayors will be organized at ITU Headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland. It is part of the program dedicated to mayors during the high-level week of the World Summit on the Information Society Forum 2022. The event on “Smart Cities, Drivers of Innovative Sustainable Development” is open to all stakeholders. It can be attended in person or online.

GCH President to address the UN GA High-Level Meeting on the Implementation of the New Urban Agenda

Sami Kanaan, President of the Geneva Cities Hub, and deputy Mayor of Geneva, has been invited to attend the High Level Meeting on the New Urban Agenda convened by the President of the UN General Assembly, H.E Abdulla Shahid, in collaboration with UN-Habitat on 28 April 2022 in New York.
