Description

GCH will be moderating an interesting event tomorrow held as a high-level parallel event in the Global Refugee Forum. Co-organized by UNHCR and UN-Habitat, the event will introduce a multi-stakeholder pledge on “Climate Resilient, Sustainable Human Settlements”. As such, we’ll discuss the necessity to move away from refugee camps and work towards sustainable integrated settlements for both refugees and host communities. And for that, it has been acknowledged that local and regional governments are indispensable partners.
