The Global Cities Hub welcomes Eline Morsink as Visiting Policy Officer. Eline joins the GCH on a three-month secondment from the Municipality of The Hague (Netherlands), where she serves as strategic advisor on Social Affairs. In connection with the 6th UN Forum of Mayors and the GCH’s thematic priorities, she will help strengthen the role of cities in multilateral governance, promote the localization of international frameworks and commitments such as the SDGs, and advocate for better inclusion of cities and regions at the global level.
This secondment represents a significant opportunity to deepen the relationship between The Hague and the Global Cities Hub. It aligns with The Hague’s commitment to deepen its engagement with international networks and multilateral processes, in line with its role as the International City of Peace and Justice.
The GCH offers this prospect with the conviction that this secondment will deepen Eline’s knowledge of the avenues that local and regional governments have to engage in the international system, hence reinforcing The Hague’s capacity to participate and make its voice heard at the international level in Geneva and beyond.
Welcome Eline!
