Mayors’ panel at 4th Global Ministerial Conference on road safety

The GCH has been invited by the World Health Organization (WHO) to open the Mayor’s Panel at the 4th Global Ministerial Conference on Road Safety, taking place in Marrakech from 18-20 February 2025.

WHO Director-General Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, UN Special Envoy Jean Todt, and numerous Ministers will take part in the Ministerial Conference.

The Conference will feature a dedicated plenary session on cities and mayors – a significant recognition of their crucial role in addressing road safety.

The session will underscore how mayors can drive policy change, engage communities, enhance urban infrastructure, and implement innovative solutions to create safer and more sustainable cities.
