6th meeting of the UN Forum of Mayors

The 6th meeting of the UN Forum of Mayors titled “Cities Delivering for a Sustainable Future” takes place on 12 and 13 October 2026 in Geneva, with associated events held on 14 October. More than 60 mayors from all over the world are expected to participate. The Forum will mainly focus on Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 11 – Sustainable Cities and Communities that will be reviewed by Member States at the High-Level Political Forum (HLPF), held in New York on 6-15 July 2026, together with SDG6 – Clean Water and Sanitation, SDG7- Affordable and Clean Energy, SDG9 – Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure. It is organized under the auspices of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE), with support from the Global Cities Hub. |
