Le GCH copréside le groupe de travail de l'UIT sur l'IA

GCH is proud to co-chair the Working Group on “Outreach and Engagement” of ITU’s Focus Group on AI for Smart Sustainable Cities and Communities.

This international collaboration brings city administrations and technology experts together to identify where standards and related guidance can help create the conditions to turn AI opportunities into tangible benefits. The AI era requires cities to look beyond any single application and consider how to integrate AI responsibly into complex urban systems.

National and local governments, experts, academia and international organizations should cooperate on shaping AI-enabled cities. The Focus Group discusses terminology and AI adoption frameworks; urban foundation models; agentic, physical and spatial AI; urban use cases; interoperability; AI readiness and assessment; accessibility and digital inclusion; and the sustainability impacts of AI-enabled urban systems.

GCH would like to encourage city leaders and municipal staff to engage in this process, participate in the working group consultations or simply share experiences, needs and recommendations with us. Contributions can address questions of data, transparency, accountability, bias and accessibility; or other challenges relate to skills, institutional capacity, investment, and unequal access to technologies and expertise.
