Ce document fournit \u00e0 nos partenaires un plan clair de la vision, de la mission et des valeurs de GCH, ainsi que de ses objectifs et de la mani\u00e8re de les atteindre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>C\u00e9l\u00e9bration de ses 5 ans<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;Annonc\u00e9 en mars, le GCH envisage un monde dans lequel les gouvernements locaux et r\u00e9gionaux sont reconnus comme des acteurs \u00e0 part enti\u00e8re de la gouvernance multilat\u00e9rale et renforcent activement son efficacit\u00e9 globale afin de r\u00e9pondre plus efficacement aux d\u00e9fis mondiaux. \u00c0 ce titre, le&nbsp;<strong>mission du GCH<\/strong>&nbsp;est double :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>contribuer \u00e0 un multilat\u00e9ralisme plus inclusif et plus efficace en renfor\u00e7ant l'influence du GRL dans les processus multilat\u00e9raux bas\u00e9s \u00e0 Gen\u00e8ve ;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>promouvoir les th\u00e8mes urbains au sein de la Gen\u00e8ve internationale, en leur offrant un espace de discussion propre.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Trois objectifs principaux<\/strong>&nbsp;sera au c\u0153ur du travail de la GCH :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>devenir la principale plateforme de diplomatie urbaine internationale ;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>accro\u00eetre l'influence des GLR au niveau international ;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>identifier les futures tendances internationales qui impactent les villes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Pour atteindre ces objectifs<\/strong>, la GCH&nbsp;<em>convoquer<\/em>&nbsp;les \u00e9v\u00e9nements pertinents ;&nbsp;<em>relier<\/em>&nbsp;Les GRL et leurs r\u00e9seaux avec les Nations unies et d'autres organisations internationales ;&nbsp;<em>champion&nbsp;<\/em>le r\u00f4le et les perspectives des GRL dans les processus multilat\u00e9raux pertinents ; et le soutien&nbsp;<em>le renforcement des capacit\u00e9s&nbsp;<\/em>pour les GRL en servant de centre d'information et de ressource fiable pour des id\u00e9es et des conseils sur des sujets et des acteurs cl\u00e9s dans le domaine urbain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En termes d'&nbsp;<strong>engagement th\u00e9matique<\/strong>Dans le cadre de la strat\u00e9gie de Lisbonne, le GCH s'efforcera d'acc\u00e9l\u00e9rer la r\u00e9alisation des objectifs de d\u00e9veloppement durable au niveau local et de pr\u00e9parer les villes et les r\u00e9gions \u00e0 l'agenda de l'apr\u00e8s-2030. La dimension locale de th\u00e8mes sp\u00e9cifiques sera au centre des travaux du GCH, \u00e0 savoir : les droits de l'homme, la sant\u00e9 urbaine, la protection de l'environnement, le changement climatique, le d\u00e9veloppement urbain durable et les villes intelligentes. Le GCH s'engagera \u00e9galement aupr\u00e8s de certains organismes multilat\u00e9raux, tels que le Forum des maires des Nations unies, le Conseil des droits de l'homme des Nations unies ou l'Assembl\u00e9e des Nations unies pour l'environnement.
