Pour en assurer le suivi, le\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.wipo.int\/portal\/en\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Organisation mondiale de la propri\u00e9t\u00e9 intellectuelle<\/a>\u00a0(OMPI) publie chaque ann\u00e9e l'Indice mondial de l'innovation (IME), qui identifie \u00e9galement les 100 principaux groupements scientifiques et technologiques (S&amp;T) du monde. Ann\u00e9e apr\u00e8s ann\u00e9e, il s'agit de villes.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le prochain GII sera&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.wipo.int\/web\/global-innovation-index\/w\/news\/2024\/save-the-date-gii-2024\">lanc\u00e9<\/a>&nbsp;le 26 septembre, mais un&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.wipo.int\/pressroom\/en\/articles\/2024\/article_0012.html\">aper\u00e7u<\/a>&nbsp;indique que les centres urbains d'Asie (Tokyo-Yokohama, Shenzhen-Hong Kong-Guangzhou) et des \u00c9tats-Unis (San Jose-San Francisco) dominent les dix premiers. Les plateformes de plusieurs pays \u00e0 revenu interm\u00e9diaire, dont Le Caire, Chennai et Istanbul, se d\u00e9veloppent rapidement.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les centres urbains sont \u00e0 l'origine de nombreuses solutions aux d\u00e9fis mondiaux. Leur influence cr\u00e9ative renforce l'argument selon lequel les Nations unies et d'autres processus multilat\u00e9raux devraient accueillir l'expertise et l'exp\u00e9rience que les villes peuvent apporter \u00e0 l'\u00e9laboration des politiques mondiales.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\"Les groupements scientifiques et technologiques sont \u00e0 la base des \u00e9cosyst\u00e8mes nationaux d'innovation solides. Il est encourageant de voir que ces groupements prosp\u00e8rent non seulement dans les centres matures des pays industrialis\u00e9s, mais aussi dans les nouveaux points chauds de l'innovation de certaines \u00e9conomies en d\u00e9veloppement.
