Notre objectif \u00e9tait d'amplifier leur voix au sein du principal organe intergouvernemental des Nations unies pour les droits de l'homme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Contexte :<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/globalcitieshub.org\/fr\/human-rights-council\/\">Le Conseil des droits de l'homme (CDH)<\/a> est le principal organe intergouvernemental des Nations unies charg\u00e9 de renforcer la promotion et la protection des droits de l'homme dans le monde et de traiter les situations de violation des droits de l'homme. Il tient trois sessions r\u00e9guli\u00e8res par an, \u00e0 savoir 55<sup>th<\/sup>, 56<sup>th<\/sup> et 57<sup>th<\/sup> en 2024.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bon nombre des questions abord\u00e9es par le CDH sont d'une grande importance pour les GRL, qui doivent souvent prendre diverses mesures l\u00e9gislatives, budg\u00e9taires, administratives, promotionnelles, \u00e9ducatives et autres pour s'acquitter des obligations internationales de leur \u00c9tat en mati\u00e8re de promotion et de protection des droits de l'homme.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Il est donc essentiel que les GRL s'engagent activement dans l'agenda des droits de l'homme et travaillent \u00e0 la mise en \u0153uvre de politiques et d'initiatives qui d\u00e9fendent et font progresser les droits de l'homme au sein de leurs communaut\u00e9s.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Objectifs de la GCH \u00e0 HRC55 :<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Le GCH visait \u00e0 donner plus de visibilit\u00e9 aux GRL sur les questions trait\u00e9es par le Conseil des droits de l'homme qui sont d'une grande importance pour les GRL. Lors de la 55<sup>th<\/sup> Lors de cette session, la Conf\u00e9rence mondiale sur le logement s'est concentr\u00e9e sur le renforcement de la participation des GRL aux travaux du Conseil des droits de l'homme, sur la protection de l'environnement, ainsi que sur le logement (ad\u00e9quat) abordable et le probl\u00e8me des sans-abri.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Actions concr\u00e8tes de la GCH :<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>L'une de nos principales contributions a \u00e9t\u00e9 d'aider les \u00c9tats \u00e0 r\u00e9diger une d\u00e9claration commune sur les collectivit\u00e9s locales et les droits de l'homme. En savoir plus <a href=\"https:\/\/globalcitieshub.org\/fr\/at-un-hrc-states-jointly-underline-need-to-provide-more-space-to-local-governments-for-a-more-inclusive-multilateralism\/\">ici<\/a> et voir le texte int\u00e9gral de la d\u00e9claration commune.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Le GCH a \u00e9galement anim\u00e9 un \u00e9v\u00e9nement co-organis\u00e9 par le Br\u00e9sil, la Finlande, l'Allemagne et la Namibie afin d'aborder les questions interd\u00e9pendantes du logement (in)abordable et du sans-abrisme, deux sujets d'actualit\u00e9 pour les gouvernements locaux et r\u00e9gionaux. Dans ce contexte, nous saluons la \"r\u00e9solution sur le logement\", adopt\u00e9e sous la direction des \u00c9tats susmentionn\u00e9s, qui contient, pour les 1<sup>.<\/sup> Le rapport de la Commission europ\u00e9enne sur l'\u00e9tat de l'environnement et du d\u00e9veloppement durable fait r\u00e9f\u00e9rence au r\u00f4le des organisations de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 civile dans le domaine du logement et encourage les gouvernements centraux et les agences du syst\u00e8me des Nations unies \u00e0 travailler avec les organisations de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 civile, voir le rapport de la Commission europ\u00e9enne sur le d\u00e9veloppement durable. <em>le texte int\u00e9gral de la r\u00e9solution <a href=\"https:\/\/globalcitieshub.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/Human-Rights-Council-resolution-Adequate-Housing-adequate-standard-of-living-and-non-dscrimination-adopted-3-April-2024-55-L-12.pdf\">ici<\/a>en particulier les paragraphes OP1 (t) et OP2 (b).<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>En outre, nous avons mis l'accent sur l'impact du r\u00e8glement des diff\u00e9rends entre investisseurs et \u00c9tats sur les GRL et soulign\u00e9 l'importance de la collaboration entre les investisseurs et les GRL pour r\u00e9pondre aux besoins en mati\u00e8re de droits de l'homme et d'environnement, lors de l'\u00e9v\u00e9nement historique bas\u00e9 sur le rapport (<a href=\"https:\/\/undocs.org\/Home\/Mobile?FinalSymbol=A%2F78%2F168&amp;Language=E&amp;DeviceType=Desktop&amp;LangRequested=False\">A\/78\/168<\/a>), co-organis\u00e9e par la GCH, le rapporteur sp\u00e9cial des Nations unies et l'Agence europ\u00e9enne des droits fondamentaux. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.genevaenvironmentnetwork.org\/events\/human-rights-and-environmental-impacts-of-investors-states-dispute-settlements-isds-mechanisms-geneva-rights-and-environment-talks\/\">R\u00e9seau Environnemental de Gen\u00e8ve (GEN)<\/a>. Les GLR jouent un r\u00f4le crucial dans la mise en \u0153uvre des projets d'investissement et le respect des r\u00e9glementations locales. En encourageant la collaboration entre les investisseurs et les GRL, nous pouvons maximiser les b\u00e9n\u00e9fices tout en tenant compte des droits de l'homme et des pr\u00e9occupations environnementales au niveau local.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Nous saluons \u00e9galement la nouvelle version de la r\u00e9solution \u00e9tablissant le droit \u00e0 un environnement sain en relation avec les droits de l'homme, adopt\u00e9e sous la direction du Costa Rica, des Maldives, du Maroc, de la Slov\u00e9nie et de la Suisse, qui encourage le rapporteur sp\u00e9cial \u00e0 travailler avec les GRL dans l'accomplissement de son mandat dans ce domaine. <em>le texte int\u00e9gral de la r\u00e9solution <a href=\"https:\/\/globalcitieshub.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/Human-Rights-Council-resolution-Human-Rights-to-a-clean-healthy-and-sustainable-envrionment-adopted-3-April-2024-55-L-1.pdf\">ici<\/a>en particulier les paragraphes suivants : OP4 (a).<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Conclusions<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>En conclusion, les GRL ont beaucoup \u00e0 gagner d'une implication accrue dans le travail du Conseil des droits de l'homme. Le Global Cities Hub s'engage \u00e0 soutenir les GLR dans leur engagement aupr\u00e8s du Conseil, y compris dans le cadre de l'examen p\u00e9riodique universel.
