Les 6th<\/sup> L'Assembl\u00e9e des Nations unies pour l'environnement (UNEA-6) se tiendra du 26 f\u00e9vrier au 1er mars au si\u00e8ge du Programme des Nations unies pour l'environnement (PNUE) \u00e0 Nairobi. Au fil des ans, l'UNEA a pris de l'importance en tant qu'assembl\u00e9e mondiale des Nations unies traitant de questions environnementales importantes, y compris la pollution plastique sur laquelle la GCH s'est engag\u00e9e derni\u00e8rement. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

En participant \u00e0 l'UNEA-6, le GCH contribuera \u00e0 renforcer la position des gouvernements locaux et r\u00e9gionaux (LRG) dans le multilat\u00e9ralisme par le biais des \u00e9l\u00e9ments suivants Sommet des villes et des r\u00e9gions<\/a> (voir programme et lien d'inscription ici<\/a>) et ses r\u00e9sultats, qui seront officiellement pr\u00e9sent\u00e9s \u00e0 la pl\u00e9ni\u00e8re de l'UNEA-6 le 26 f\u00e9vrier, marquant ainsi une \u00e9tape importante vers l'autonomisation des GRL dans les discussions et les processus environnementaux.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En outre, la GCH participera aux n\u00e9gociations sur les r\u00e9solutions pertinentes au cours de l'UNEA-6. De plus amples informations seront disponibles sur le site web de la GCH dans les prochains jours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La GCH reste d\u00e9termin\u00e9e \u00e0 promouvoir les voix des GRL qui font progresser les pratiques environnementales durables. Avec l'UNEA-6 qui se profile \u00e0 l'horizon, la GCH voit une grande opportunit\u00e9 d'impliquer les GRL dans les discussions internationales sur les d\u00e9fis environnementaux critiques.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
