Les pr\u00e9paratifs sont en cours pour la 4\u00e8me session de l'Assembl\u00e9e g\u00e9n\u00e9rale des Nations Unies. Comit\u00e9 intergouvernemental de n\u00e9gociation<\/a> (INC-4, 23-29 avril 2024, Ottawa, Canada) pour \u00e9laborer un instrument international juridiquement contraignant sur la pollution plastique. Un projet r\u00e9vis\u00e9<\/a> La version r\u00e9vis\u00e9e de l'instrument a \u00e9t\u00e9 publi\u00e9e par le secr\u00e9tariat du PNUE le 28 d\u00e9cembre 2023 et le Global Cities Hub est heureux de voir ses suggestions incluses, prenant ainsi en consid\u00e9ration le r\u00f4le des gouvernements locaux et r\u00e9gionaux (LRG) dans la gestion des d\u00e9chets et de la pollution plastique et d'autres domaines connexes. Ceci \u00e9tant dit, ce projet r\u00e9vis\u00e9 contient encore (trop) d'options et il reste beaucoup de travail pour s'assurer que les diff\u00e9rentes options prennent en compte le r\u00f4le des gouvernements locaux et r\u00e9gionaux.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dans cette prise de position, le GCH souligne plusieurs domaines dans lesquels les gouvernements locaux et r\u00e9gionaux (LRG) peuvent r\u00e9ellement faire la diff\u00e9rence dans la lutte contre la pollution plastique, et comment cela devrait \u00eatre refl\u00e9t\u00e9 au mieux dans un nouvel instrument international juridiquement contraignant sur la pollution plastique qui aborde l'ensemble du cycle de vie du plastique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
