Avec toute une d\u00e9l\u00e9gation de gouvernements locaux et r\u00e9gionaux (LRG) mobilis\u00e9s par le <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mayorsmechanism.org\/\">M\u00e9canisme des maires du FMMD<\/a>Les groupes r\u00e9gionaux de liaison transmettront des messages forts sur leurs actions audacieuses et novatrices pour prot\u00e9ger et aider les migrants et les r\u00e9fugi\u00e9s, notamment par le biais de la <a href=\"https:\/\/localaction.mayorsmechanism.org\/\">Appel \u00e0 l'action locale<\/a> qui a donn\u00e9 lieu \u00e0 plus de 120 promesses de mise en \u0153uvre des pactes des Nations unies sur les migrations et les r\u00e9fugi\u00e9s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Il est particuli\u00e8rement int\u00e9ressant de noter que la pr\u00e9sidence fran\u00e7aise du FMMD a fix\u00e9 l'une de ses 6 priorit\u00e9s sur la question de la \"gouvernance multi-niveaux de la migration\". Une table ronde discutera de la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 de r\u00e9unir les diff\u00e9rentes parties prenantes pour une meilleure gestion des migrations (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gfmd.org\/sites\/g\/files\/tmzbdl1801\/files\/documents\/france2023\/roundtables\/GFMD%20GRT%206%20-%20Background%20paper%20Final_EN.pdf?EN\">Table ronde 6, 25 janvier, 9h30-12h00<\/a>). En outre, le m\u00e9canisme des maires du FMMD offrira un espace de dialogue d\u00e9di\u00e9 entre les gouvernements nationaux, r\u00e9gionaux et locaux afin de discuter d'actions conjointes et de solutions concr\u00e8tes pour une plus grande collaboration dans l'\u00e9laboration des politiques migratoires entre les diff\u00e9rents niveaux de gouvernement (<a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/1dbISXj7iZ-bNw3_3B4kFTts1Ju-B_xXl\/view\">R\u00e9union de mise en r\u00e9seau du niveau national au niveau local, 25 janvier, 13:30-15:00<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aujourd'hui, la grande majorit\u00e9 des migrants se rendent dans les villes, \u00e0 la recherche de s\u00e9curit\u00e9, d'un logement, d'une \u00e9ducation et d'un travail. Certaines villes ont pris des mesures concr\u00e8tes pour faire face \u00e0 ces arriv\u00e9es. Par exemple, Barcelone, Barranquilla, Bogota, Montevideo et Quezon City ont mis en place des \"guichets uniques\" permettant aux migrants et aux r\u00e9fugi\u00e9s d'acc\u00e9der \u00e0 un large \u00e9ventail de services par l'interm\u00e9diaire d'un point d\u00e9di\u00e9. Montr\u00e9al et Sao Paulo forment leurs institutions publiques et leurs employ\u00e9s \u00e0 s'assurer que l'acc\u00e8s aux services publics n'est pas discriminatoire. D'autres, comme Accra, eThekwini, Haho, Sfax, Brus, Nairobi ou Paris, investissent pour am\u00e9liorer la collecte de donn\u00e9es afin de mieux r\u00e9pondre aux besoins sp\u00e9cifiques de leurs communaut\u00e9s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Toutefois, les villes ne peuvent y parvenir seules. Elles ont besoin d'un environnement juridique et politique ad\u00e9quat et de ressources pour garantir que l'\u00e9galit\u00e9 d'acc\u00e8s aux services publics devienne une r\u00e9alit\u00e9 pour tous. En particulier, alors qu'il est demand\u00e9 aux gouvernements locaux de faire plus avec moins, il est n\u00e9cessaire que les gouvernements locaux aient un acc\u00e8s direct et accru au financement international. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le FMMD est un espace id\u00e9al pour discuter ouvertement de ces questions, \u00e9tant donn\u00e9 qu'il reconna\u00eet formellement le r\u00f4le critique des gouvernements locaux dans la gouvernance de la migration.
