L'\u00e9v\u00e9nement \u00e9tait co-organis\u00e9 par le&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.who.int\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Organisation mondiale de la sant\u00e9<\/a>&nbsp;(OMS), de la France, de la Finlande et de l'Indon\u00e9sie, en marge de la 75e session de la&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.un.org\/en\/ga\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Assembl\u00e9e g\u00e9n\u00e9rale de l'ONU<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u200b<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L'objectif de l'\u00e9v\u00e9nement \u00e9tait de souligner les avantages importants de la pr\u00e9paration aux urgences de sant\u00e9 publique, telles que la pand\u00e9mie de COVID19. Dans la perspective d'une future urgence similaire, il a \u00e9t\u00e9 soulign\u00e9 que tous les secteurs de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 et tous les niveaux de gouvernement devaient unir leurs forces et se coordonner pour assurer une pr\u00e9paration durable et efficace, ainsi que des syst\u00e8mes de sant\u00e9 r\u00e9silients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Un soutien ferme \u00e0 l'OMS en tant qu'agence de coordination mondiale en cas de crise sanitaire, ainsi qu'au multilat\u00e9ralisme et \u00e0 la coop\u00e9ration internationale entre les \u00c9tats, a \u00e9galement \u00e9t\u00e9 mis en avant. Au cours de l'\u00e9v\u00e9nement, les villes ont \u00e9t\u00e9 point\u00e9es du doigt comme faisant partie du probl\u00e8me, puisque leur densit\u00e9 les transforme en n\u0153uds massifs d'amplification des maladies, mais surtout comme faisant partie de la solution, \u00e9tant donn\u00e9 qu'elles fournissent un acc\u00e8s aux soins de sant\u00e9, \u00e0 l'\u00e9ducation, aux opportunit\u00e9s \u00e9conomiques, \u00e0 la protection, etc.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Reconnaissant la dynamique unique des villes en mati\u00e8re de propagation des maladies infectieuses, M. Kanaan a soulign\u00e9 la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 d'inclure les gouvernements locaux dans la pr\u00e9paration et la r\u00e9ponse aux urgences sanitaires, mais aussi dans le r\u00e9tablissement et la r\u00e9silience \u00e0 ces crises. En tant que premiers intervenants en cas d'urgence, M. Kanaan a rappel\u00e9 que les gouvernements locaux ne doivent pas seulement disposer des moyens de mettre en \u0153uvre des politiques, mais qu'ils doivent \u00e9galement \u00eatre impliqu\u00e9s dans les d\u00e9bats internationaux qui fa\u00e7onnent finalement les solutions aux d\u00e9fis mondiaux.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00c0 cet \u00e9gard, M. Kanaan a soulign\u00e9 la mission du Geneva Cities Hub, qui consiste \u00e0 soutenir des liens plus forts entre les villes et les discussions politiques mondiales dans la Gen\u00e8ve internationale. Le Geneva Cities Hub vise \u00e0 contribuer \u00e0 un type de multilat\u00e9ralisme plus inclusif pour soutenir l'approche de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 dans son ensemble, qui est si cruciale pour r\u00e9pondre efficacement aux d\u00e9fis les plus pressants de l'humanit\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L'OMS et ses \u00c9tats membres continueront d'examiner de pr\u00e8s la pr\u00e9paration \u00e0 la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 sanitaire et \u00e0 la r\u00e9silience.
