La AIMF ha sido un socio importante del GCH desde su creaci\u00f3n, ya sea para apoyar la participaci\u00f3n de los alcaldes franc\u00f3fonos en el Foro de Alcaldes de la ONU o en torno a la necesidad de sensibilizar a los Estados sobre el papel y el valor a\u00f1adido de las ciudades en diversos procesos de la ONU. El GCH est\u00e1 muy orgulloso de colaborar con la AIMF y de aprovechar esta s\u00f3lida asociaci\u00f3n para seguir promoviendo la voz de los alcaldes en la escena internacional.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El Memorando de Entendimiento renovado pretende reforzar los esfuerzos conjuntos en \u00e1reas de inter\u00e9s mutuo, como la facilitaci\u00f3n de la participaci\u00f3n de los GLR en los principales foros de las Naciones Unidas y el intercambio de conocimientos especializados, as\u00ed como colaborar en la organizaci\u00f3n de actos de gran repercusi\u00f3n y en el desarrollo de redes. Al reforzar su cooperaci\u00f3n, el GCH y la AIMF reafirman su compromiso com\u00fan de promover un sistema multilateral m\u00e1s inclusivo y eficaz, en el que los alcaldes puedan contribuir activamente a abordar retos mundiales como el cambio clim\u00e1tico, el desarrollo sostenible y la inclusi\u00f3n social.
