En presencia de S.E. el Embajador Vincenzo Grassi, Representante Permanente de Italia ante las Naciones Unidas en Ginebra, y del Ministro Giovanni Battista Iannuzzi, Presidente del Comit\u00e9 Interministerial de Derechos Humanos (CIDU) de Italia, la recepci\u00f3n ofreci\u00f3 un momento para celebrar el cierre del cuarto ciclo del EPU de Italia. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tambi\u00e9n sirvi\u00f3 de plataforma para destacar las recientes iniciativas lideradas por Italia destinadas a reforzar la participaci\u00f3n local en la vigilancia de los derechos humanos, incluidos los resultados del<a href=\"https:\/\/www.geneva-academy.ch\/news\/detail\/714-expert-roundtable-discusses-role-of-local-and-regional-governments-in-data-collection-for-national-mechanisms\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">\u00a0Mesa Redonda de Expertos de Bolonia sobre Planificaci\u00f3n y Recogida de Datos por los Mecanismos Nacionales de Ejecuci\u00f3n, Presentaci\u00f3n de Informes y Seguimiento (MNIRF): El papel de los gobiernos locales y regionales y de los sistemas estad\u00edsticos nacionales<\/a>.
