Este documento ofrece a nuestros socios un proyecto claro sobre la visi\u00f3n, la misi\u00f3n y los valores del GCH, junto con sus objetivos y la forma de alcanzarlos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Celebraci\u00f3n de su 5<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;Aniversario en marzo, el GCH imagina un mundo en el que los gobiernos locales y regionales (GLR) sean reconocidos como actores de pleno derecho en la gobernanza multilateral y refuercen activamente su eficacia general para responder con mayor efectividad a los retos globales. Como tal, el&nbsp;<strong>La misi\u00f3n de GCH<\/strong>&nbsp;es doble:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Contribuir a un multilateralismo m\u00e1s integrador y eficaz reforzando la influencia de LRG en los procesos multilaterales con sede en Ginebra;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>promover lo \"urbano\" en la agenda de la Ginebra Internacional, proporcion\u00e1ndole un espacio para debatir cuestiones urbanas.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Tres objetivos principales<\/strong>&nbsp;estar\u00e1 en el centro del trabajo del GCH:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>convirti\u00e9ndose en la principal plataforma de la diplomacia urbana internacional;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>aumentar la influencia de LRG a escala internacional;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>identificar las futuras tendencias internacionales importantes para las ciudades.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Para alcanzar estos objetivos<\/strong>El GCH&nbsp;<em>convocar<\/em>&nbsp;acontecimientos relevantes;&nbsp;<em>conecte<\/em>&nbsp;LRG y sus redes con las Naciones Unidas y otras organizaciones internacionales;&nbsp;<em>campe\u00f3n&nbsp;<\/em>el papel y las perspectivas de los GLR en los procesos multilaterales pertinentes; y apoyar&nbsp;<em>desarrollo de capacidades&nbsp;<\/em>para los GLR, sirviendo de centro de informaci\u00f3n y recurso fiable de ideas y asesoramiento sobre temas y agentes urbanos clave.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En t\u00e9rminos de&nbsp;<strong>compromiso tem\u00e1tico<\/strong>, el GCH tratar\u00e1 de acelerar localmente los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible y preparar a las ciudades y regiones para la Agenda posterior a 2030. El trabajo del GCH se centrar\u00e1 en la dimensi\u00f3n local de temas espec\u00edficos, a saber: los derechos humanos, la salud urbana, la protecci\u00f3n del medio ambiente, el cambio clim\u00e1tico, el desarrollo urbano sostenible y las ciudades inteligentes. El GCH tambi\u00e9n colaborar\u00e1 con determinados organismos multilaterales, como el Foro de Alcaldes de las Naciones Unidas, el Consejo de Derechos Humanos de las Naciones Unidas o la Asamblea de las Naciones Unidas para el Medio Ambiente.
