Este seminario web, el segundo de este tipo, (17 de julio de 2023) tiene como objetivo informar a los gobiernos locales y subnacionales sobre las actividades de la Coalici\u00f3n y ofrecer\u00e1 la posibilidad de unirse como miembro de la coalici\u00f3n (abierto a las administraciones municipales y regionales). El seminario web tendr\u00e1 lugar el 17 de septiembre de 2023, en dos horarios diferentes (10:00 CEST y 18:00 CEST) para dar cabida a participantes de todas las regiones del mundo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El seminario web se centrar\u00e1 en dos cuestiones principales: a) los preparativos para la pr\u00f3xima reuni\u00f3n del Comit\u00e9 Intergubernamental de Negociaci\u00f3n (INC-5), prevista del 25 de noviembre al 1 de diciembre en Busan (Corea del Sur), y b) har\u00e1 balance de las negociaciones preparatorias de expertos, que se celebrar\u00e1n del 24 al 28 de agosto en Bangkok (Tailandia). Estas negociaciones preparatorias incluir\u00e1n:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Mecanismos de aplicaci\u00f3n - Debate sobre los posibles marcos y medidas para garantizar la aplicaci\u00f3n efectiva de las disposiciones del tratado.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Financiaci\u00f3n y recursos - Exploraci\u00f3n de mecanismos financieros sostenibles para apoyar la aplicaci\u00f3n del tratado y ayudar a los gobiernos locales a gestionar la contaminaci\u00f3n por pl\u00e1sticos.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Los gobiernos locales y subnacionales, incluso a trav\u00e9s de nuestra Coalici\u00f3n, han contribuido activamente al lenguaje y las disposiciones de los borradores negociados que conducen al texto final del tratado, y seguir\u00e1n abogando por la inclusi\u00f3n de referencias a los gobiernos locales y subnacionales.
