El objetivo era sensibilizar a las ciudades y gobiernos subnacionales sobre el proceso de negociaci\u00f3n en curso por parte del Comit\u00e9 Internacional de Negociaci\u00f3n (INC) y los avances realizados hasta la fecha. Esta negociaci\u00f3n pretende desarrollar \"un instrumento internacional jur\u00eddicamente vinculante sobre la contaminaci\u00f3n por pl\u00e1sticos, incluido el medio marino\", denominado para facilitar la referencia \"Tratado Mundial sobre los Pl\u00e1sticos\". El INC se re\u00fane peri\u00f3dicamente, y su&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.unep.org\/inc-plastic-pollution\/session-3\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">pr\u00f3xima sesi\u00f3n&nbsp;<\/a>se celebrar\u00e1 del 11 al 19 de noviembre de 2023 en Nairobi. A finales de este mes se publicar\u00e1 un informe de WWF en el que se detallan las posibles contribuciones de las ciudades al Tratado Mundial sobre los Pl\u00e1sticos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Adem\u00e1s, el GCH ha realizado recientemente un an\u00e1lisis en profundidad del \"borrador cero\" del Tratado Mundial sobre los Pl\u00e1sticos. El an\u00e1lisis profundiza en las implicaciones de todos los niveles de gobierno.
