Ofreci\u00f3 a quienes no pudieron asistir a los actos la oportunidad de conocer las posibilidades que ofrecen, sus resultados y su papel en la creaci\u00f3n de un multilateralismo eficaz.<\/p>\n\n<p>El Embajador Boris Richard, Representante Permanente Adjunto de Suiza ante la OMC, expres\u00f3 su apoyo a la FoM como nuevo \u00f3rgano de la ONU capaz de transmitir las opiniones de los alcaldes a los Estados Miembros de la ONU. El hecho de que las ciudades se ocupen de los problemas m\u00e1s acuciantes de nuestro tiempo y su papel crucial en la consecuci\u00f3n de un futuro sostenible demuestran claramente la importancia de implicar a este grupo de interesados en los debates mundiales. Suiza es un firme defensor del multilateralismo integrador a trav\u00e9s de un enfoque multilateral.<\/p>\n\n<p>Thomas Hartley, que desempe\u00f1\u00f3 un papel decisivo en el FoM, inform\u00f3 a los asistentes de que el III Foro se hab\u00eda celebrado los d\u00edas 2 y 3 de octubre bajo el lema \"Regeneraci\u00f3n urbana hacia 2030\". Reuni\u00f3 a unos 300 representantes de ciudades, entidades de la ONU (incluidas todas las Comisiones Regionales de la ONU), Estados, as\u00ed como de ONG y del mundo acad\u00e9mico.<\/p>\n\n<p>En el centro de la misi\u00f3n de FoM se encuentra el compromiso con el desarrollo urbano sostenible y los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS). De las 60 ciudades representadas, 41 l\u00edderes compartieron sus experiencias y retos en materia de regeneraci\u00f3n urbana y resiliencia, mostrando soluciones que satisfacen simult\u00e1neamente las necesidades y aspiraciones de sus residentes, al tiempo que aplican la Agenda 2030.<\/p>\n\n<p>Los alcaldes compartieron sus valiosas experiencias sobre regeneraci\u00f3n urbana y resiliencia a trav\u00e9s de una serie de debates, incluido un nuevo \"segmento interregional\" de la FoM. Coorganizado por el GCH y todas las Comisiones Econ\u00f3micas Regionales de la ONU. Este segmento reuni\u00f3 a alcaldes de Europa y de fuera de ella para debatir sobre los retos y las buenas pr\u00e1cticas en relaci\u00f3n con la regeneraci\u00f3n urbana y el fomento de la resiliencia, a trav\u00e9s de su \u00f3ptica regional espec\u00edfica. Fue interesante identificar puntos en com\u00fan a pesar de las especificidades regionales.<\/p>\n\n<p>Boris LeMontagner explic\u00f3 la visi\u00f3n de \"Construir puentes\" para aprovechar el poder de las finanzas y el ecosistema internacional de Ginebra para preservar el planeta y reducir las desigualdades sociales. La iniciativa sirve de centro internacional para las finanzas sostenibles y los ODS.  Se trata de un esfuerzo de colaboraci\u00f3n cuyo objetivo es hacer avanzar las finanzas sostenibles. El debate de la \"Cumbre Construyendo Puentes 2023\" abarc\u00f3 herramientas de financiaci\u00f3n para el desarrollo sostenible, como la financiaci\u00f3n innovadora, los bonos verdes, las asociaciones p\u00fablico-privadas, etc.<\/p>\n\n<p>Este a\u00f1o, por primera vez, los alcaldes, los l\u00edderes de la ONU y la comunidad empresarial llevaron a cabo un debate hol\u00edstico conjunto sobre la financiaci\u00f3n sostenible a nivel local a trav\u00e9s de la acci\u00f3n de la ONU. Los alcaldes presentaron sus valiosos proyectos, los l\u00edderes de la ONU compartieron los medios con los que pueden ayudar y los empresarios asesoraron sobre c\u00f3mo preparar y planificar proyectos sostenibles.<\/p>\n\n<p>El evento \"C\u00f3mo impulsar la financiaci\u00f3n innovadora a nivel local a trav\u00e9s de la acci\u00f3n de la ONU\" ofreci\u00f3 la oportunidad de reunir a los GLR, las entidades de la ONU y el sector financiero en torno a la misma mesa para debatir un enfoque m\u00e1s inclusivo que permita avanzar y acelerar la transici\u00f3n hacia un sistema financiero sostenible a nivel mundial. La escala y la complejidad de esta transici\u00f3n exigen una mayor colaboraci\u00f3n concreta y a largo plazo entre el amplio abanico de actores, como la ONU, la comunidad financiera, los propietarios de activos, las redes del sector privado y los gobiernos locales y regionales.<\/p>\n\n<p>El p\u00fablico tuvo la posibilidad de hacer preguntas y dialogar con los ponentes durante la sesi\u00f3n informativa. El GCH considera que el 3er Foro de Alcaldes y Construir puentes 2023 contribuy\u00f3 considerablemente al multilateralismo inclusivo al implicar a los gobiernos locales y regionales.
