Fue un emocionante debate sobre digitalizaci\u00f3n, ciudades inteligentes, metaverso y CitiVerse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El evento explor\u00f3 el potencial del metaverso, un mundo virtual que puede ser aprovechado por las ciudades para acelerar su recuperaci\u00f3n de COVID-19 y apoyar su viaje en la implementaci\u00f3n de la Agenda 2030 para el desarrollo sostenible. En esta sesi\u00f3n se destacaron ejemplos de c\u00f3mo las ciudades ya utilizan el metaverso para promover el desarrollo sostenible, fomentar la innovaci\u00f3n y crear nuevas oportunidades para sus habitantes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Los ponentes explicaron c\u00f3mo el r\u00e1pido crecimiento de las ciudades en todos los continentes representa un reto para el desarrollo de infraestructuras y la prestaci\u00f3n equitativa de servicios locales. Satisfacer las necesidades futuras y dise\u00f1ar ciudades integradoras, resistentes y sostenibles exige planteamientos complejos que pueden apoyarse en las tecnolog\u00edas digitales. Ya existen buenos ejemplos en todos los continentes: Dodoma, Dubai, Singapur y Tampere, por mencionar algunos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tambi\u00e9n se anunci\u00f3 el lanzamiento de una Coalici\u00f3n Digital sobre CitiVerse con el objetivo de aprovechar el poder del metaverso en beneficio de todos para el futuro desarrollo de ciudades inclusivas, resilientes y sostenibles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La UIT elabora normas (recomendaciones) internacionales que proporcionan orientaciones com\u00fanmente acordadas para implantar la Internet de los objetos (IO) y sus aplicaciones, los gemelos digitales y la inteligencia artificial para contribuir al desarrollo de ciudades y comunidades inteligentes. Los oradores subrayaron que las normas son necesarias pero no suficientes. Tienen que servir al proceso de creaci\u00f3n efectiva de valor en el CitiVerse para las ciudades y sus residentes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Una de las definiciones propuestas anteriormente podr\u00eda servir como buen punto de partida: Un CitiVerse es una serie de mundos h\u00edbridos y virtuales interconectados y distribuidos que representan a sus hom\u00f3logos f\u00edsicos y est\u00e1n sincronizados con ellos. Ofrece nuevos bienes virtuales (administrativos, econ\u00f3micos, sociales, pol\u00edticos y culturales), servicios y capacidades a los agentes de la ciudad y la comunidad, como los ciudadanos, representados como avatares digitales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Para los gobiernos locales y regionales, podr\u00eda suponer un cambio de juego a la hora de llevar a cabo con \u00e9xito y de forma sostenible el desarrollo futuro de la ciudad en varios \u00e1mbitos, como:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>gesti\u00f3n predictiva del tr\u00e1fico y planificaci\u00f3n de la movilidad sostenible;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>servicios de datos relacionados con el tiempo, el clima y los fen\u00f3menos meteorol\u00f3gicos extremos;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>gesti\u00f3n de los flujos energ\u00e9ticos de una ciudad en colaboraci\u00f3n con otros sectores;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Acciones de contaminaci\u00f3n cero, incluida la contaminaci\u00f3n del aire, el agua, el suelo y la gesti\u00f3n de residuos;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>dise\u00f1o urbano sostenible, incluidas las infraestructuras construidas y las soluciones basadas en la naturaleza.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Cities Hub elogia las iniciativas pertinentes.
