El objetivo era sensibilizar, movilizar y comprometer a esas partes interesadas con vistas a las importantes reuniones urbanas que se celebrar\u00e1n en el primer semestre de 2022. Para ello, el GCH invit\u00f3 a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.genevacitieshub.org\/en\/un-economic-commission-for-europe\/\">UNECE <\/a>para proporcionar m\u00e1s informaci\u00f3n sobre el <a href=\"https:\/\/www.genevacitieshub.org\/en\/forum-of-mayors\/\">Foro de Alcaldes <\/a>(4-5 de abril, Ginebra), y ONU-H\u00e1bitat inform\u00f3 sobre la <a href=\"https:\/\/wuf.unhabitat.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Foro Urbano Mundial<\/a> (26-30 de junio, Katowice). La Oficina del Presidente de la Asamblea General de la ONU tambi\u00e9n particip\u00f3 en la sesi\u00f3n informativa para informar sobre la <strong>Reuni\u00f3n de alto nivel sobre la Nueva Agenda Urbana<\/strong> (seg\u00fan <a href=\"https:\/\/undocs.org\/en\/A\/RES\/75\/224\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Resoluci\u00f3n 75\/224 de la AG<\/a>) (28 de abril, Nueva York) que examinar\u00e1 la urbanizaci\u00f3n como cuesti\u00f3n transversal y fomentar\u00e1 las pol\u00edticas urbanas como medio para recuperarse de la pandemia del Covid-19 y alcanzar los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>La sesi\u00f3n informativa informal tambi\u00e9n brind\u00f3 la oportunidad de poner al d\u00eda a la comunidad urbana de Ginebra sobre el trabajo de la <strong>Grupo de trabajo de la ONU sobre el futuro de las ciudades,<\/strong> que se reuni\u00f3 el 26 de enero para debatir el proyecto de mandato del Grupo Consultivo sobre Gobiernos Locales y Regionales, presentado por el Secretario General de la ONU en su <a href=\"https:\/\/www.un.org\/en\/un75\/common-agenda\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Programa com\u00fan<\/a> (\u00a7119).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>2022 es un a\u00f1o importante desde el punto de vista urbano.
