El aumento de las consideraciones medioambientales tanto a nivel ciudadano como pol\u00edtico, junto con la reciente y actual crisis de Covid, han tenido un profundo impacto en los sistemas de transporte urbano. Numerosas ciudades han promovido la movilidad suave como el futuro del transporte urbano.<\/p>\n\n


Las Naciones Unidas han declarado el 3 de junio \"D\u00eda Mundial de la Bicicleta\". El Centro de Ciudades de Ginebra, en colaboraci\u00f3n con la Misi\u00f3n de Suiza ante las Naciones Unidas, el Fondo de Seguridad Vial de las Naciones Unidas, \"Pro Velo<\/a>\" Ginebra, la Red de Medio Ambiente de Ginebra y Urbz<\/a>, coorganiz\u00f3 un Fiesta en el jard\u00edn<\/a> en la Villa Rigot unos d\u00edas despu\u00e9s, el 30 de junio de 2021, para celebrar la movilidad urbana suave y la suavizaci\u00f3n de las medidas Covid en Ginebra. El evento constituy\u00f3 una grata oportunidad para (re)conectar con colegas y amigos de la Ginebra internacional y local, incluidos diplom\u00e1ticos, urbanistas y personal de las Naciones Unidas.<\/p>\n

Como mencion\u00f3 a los invitados el Sr. Sami Kanaan, vicealcalde de Ginebra y presidente del Geneva Cities Hub: \"Cuando llegu\u00e9 a Ginebra hace unos 30 a\u00f1os, no hab\u00eda muchos carriles bici en la ciudad. Juntos hemos conseguido cambiar esta situaci\u00f3n, y seguiremos haci\u00e9ndolo\".<\/p>\n\n

\"La movilidad suave es el futuro de las ciudades\", se hizo eco Jean-Pierre Reymond, 2050Hoy<\/a> Coordinador mundial, Encargado de misi\u00f3n, Misi\u00f3n Permanente de Suiza. En colaboraci\u00f3n con las Naciones Unidas, 2050Today re\u00fane a una comunidad de instituciones internacionales de Ginebra decididas a garantizar una reducci\u00f3n r\u00e1pida, continua y mensurable de sus emisiones de carbono.<\/p>\n\n

En relaci\u00f3n con la movilidad blanda en Ginebra, hay muchas iniciativas como ir al trabajo en bicicleta<\/a> y otros dignos de ser conocidos y seguidos, concluy\u00f3 la Sra. Diana Rizzolio, coordinadora del Red Ambiental de Ginebra (GEN)<\/a>Una asociaci\u00f3n cooperativa de m\u00e1s de 75 organizaciones de medio ambiente y desarrollo sostenible con sede en Ginebra, auspiciada por el Programa de las Naciones Unidas para el Medio Ambiente.<\/p>\n\n
