As\u00ed pues, las ciudades forman parte de los muy necesarios y \"nuevos\" actores que pueden contribuir a la aplicaci\u00f3n del Pacto Mundial sobre los Refugiados, entre otras cosas proporcionando protecci\u00f3n, medios de subsistencia, perspectivas de futuro y, sobre todo, esperanza a los desplazados. Por eso, junto con su socio el\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mayorsmigrationcouncil.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Consejo de Alcaldes para la Migraci\u00f3n<\/a>El Centro de Ciudades de Ginebra hizo un llamamiento a la comunidad internacional para que las ciudades obtengan m\u00e1s recursos y un acceso m\u00e1s f\u00e1cil a los fondos internacionales.
