The Global Cities Hub and the Association Internationale des Maires Francophones (AIMF) have renewed their Memorandum of Understanding framing their ongoing collaboration. The AIMF has been an important partner of GCH since its very establishment, be it to support the participation of francophone mayors in the UN Forum of Mayors or around the necessity to raise awareness of States about the role and added value of cities in various UN processes. The GCH is very proud to collaborate with the AIMF and to build on this strong partnership to further promote the voice of mayors on the international stage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The renewed MoU aims to strengthen joint efforts in areas of mutual interest, such as the facilitation of LRG participation in key UN fora, and the exchange of expertise, as well as collaborate in organizing high-impact events, and developing networks. By reinforcing their cooperation, GCH and AIMF reaffirm their shared commitment to advancing a more inclusive and effective multilateral system, where mayors can actively contribute to addressing global challenges such as climate change, sustainable development, and social inclusion. We look forward to the concrete outcomes this renewed partnership will bring in the coming years.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
