Led by Executive Director &amp; Chair Karl-Filip Coenegrachts, OASC drives open, interoperable and transparent digital transformation for the benefit of the economy, cities and their citizens.<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-d65a5fe elementor-widget elementor-widget-spacer\" data-id=\"d65a5fe\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"spacer.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-spacer\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-spacer-inner\"><\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-e265d19 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"e265d19\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h4><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>PRINCIPAL OBJECTIVES<\/strong><\/span><\/h4><p>OASC works with its members, partners and independent experts to create sustainable,\u00a0resilient and inclusive\u00a0impact for cities and communities\u00a0through digital tools, systems, data and emerging technologies, including Artificial Intelligence, while strengthening digital sovereignty, through applying measures that reduce dependencies and increase digital autonomy.<\/p><p>OASC focuses on interoperability \u2014 technical, semantic, organisational, cultural and legal \u2014 as the ability of organisations and individuals to interact towards mutually beneficial goals and the effective delivery of services in cities and communities through the exchange of data, information and knowledge, enabled by aligned processes and digital technologies,\u00a0while respecting privacy, security, ethical principles and digital sovereignty.<\/p><p>This facilitates the seamless sharing and re-use of digital,\u00a0data-supported and AI-enabled solutions,\u00a0helping to avoid vendor lock-in, reduce costs and\u00a0resource consumption, improve efficiency,\u00a0strengthen resilience and digital sovereignty, and increase the ability of cities and communities to address local and global societal challenges.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-ee92cf4 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"ee92cf4\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h4><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>KEY PROJECTS<\/strong><\/span><\/h4><p><strong>OASC Academy.\u00a0<\/strong>Provides online courses to increase the skills of public administrations and help them prepare for digital transformation.<\/p><p><strong>CSCC Catalogue.<\/strong>\u00a0The Connected Smart Cities and Communities Catalogue is being developed as a marketplace of city solutions, by cities, for cities. Showcasing only deployed solutions and products and services that underpin them, the Catalogue highlights best practices from cities around the world.<\/p><p><strong>MIMs.<\/strong> Interoperability mechanisms that enable a minimal but sufficient level of interoperability for data, systems and services specifically in the context of smart city solutions.
