The<em> Mayors&#8217; Action Platform <\/em>has been created for you!<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"click-here-to-join-the-community\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Click<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/mayors-community-platform.mn.co\/share\/SCjABfVr1TmcqVeh?utm_source=manual\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">here <\/a><span style=\"color: #000000;\">to join the community.<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>The Geneva Cities Hub launched the <em>Mayors\u2019 Action Platform <\/em>(MAP).<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Created under the auspices of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.genevacitieshub.org\/en\/un-economic-commission-for-europe\/\">UNECE <\/a>and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.genevacitieshub.org\/en\/un-habitat\/\">UN-HABITAT<\/a>, this initiative was created to follow-up on the <a href=\"https:\/\/forumofmayors.unece.org\/declaration.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Geneva Declaration of Mayors<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>The objectives of the platform are twofold:<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">to showcase concrete actions and solutions devised by cities to address the issues covered by the Declaration of Mayors<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">to create a safe space for Mayors and their administration to exchange among peers<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>This is a platform where Mayors can publish their own success stories, read best practices by other municipalities, and get in touch via the integrated chat.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"about-the-declaration-of-mayors\"><strong>About the Declaration of Mayors<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>In 2020, the <a href=\"https:\/\/forumofmayors.unece.org\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">first-ever Forum of Mayors<\/a> enabled Mayors from the UNECE region to share how they make their cities more resilient, with a focus on Covid-19 and climate change.
